Exclamation PLEASE HELP....sim card to address book issue!!

Please Login to Remove!

New to BB. Please bare with me. I had to swap my bb pearl for another one due to some issues. however, now all my contacts are on my sim card. I am unable to successfully transfer all my contact info to my address book. I've done the "copy all to adress book" but to no avail nothing is being populated under my address book. PLEASE HELP!!!

Lightbulb you sure?

Are you absolutely sure you saved them to your SIM card ahead of time? It won't save them to SIM automatically....you gotta do it manually.

ya sounds like they where saved on the BB's memory.. Did you ever back up your device with desktop manager? Or just sync it with outlook if that has your address book.

it sounds like the addresses may have been saved to your last phone and not the sim card, you would need to resave the contacts from the phone to the sim card, from the old phone and then install the sim card into your new BB

I think you are right. From the deafening silence from the original poster, I am betting all the contact were really on the device.

A good reminder to all of us to backup/sync now!
