| Here are the steps I took for copying the text of a large email. When I pasted it into a note, the note was full and so all of the text was not pasted. I didn't realize how much I had to scroll to get to the top of the note.
First of all, I had to retrieve the entire email -- it did not show up in its entirety until I clicked 'retrieve more' a couple times.
I went to the start of the body of the email, pressed the menu key and clicked on Select. I held the Shift (#) key down while I pressed 7 (or CV). All of the text was selected. I released both keys and pressed the menu key again and clicked on Copy.
If you're having trouble, try clicking Select, then scroll down with the trackball. If you see rows of text being selected, hold the Shift key down and press the 7 (CV) key.
If you start in the subject field, you won't be able to scroll into the body of the email -- you can only select the subject. Make sure you are in the body where you can select all of the text.
Also, by 7 key, I don't mean to press the Alt key and then the CV key. I just refer to that key as the 7 key because the 1, 7, 3 and 9 keys are all navigation keys and it is easier for me to remember those than the letters.
Good luck! |
