I've been a treo user for the past several years and just got a pearl for work and I've been so impressed by it I also got one for myself. I've got some applications on my work pearl that I want to move to my personal one. How do I do it? I've tried just using the windows explorer to move files but it always tells me "please insert disk in drive." I haven't gotten the microsd cards yet but I'm looking at the 2gb. The media transfer won't let me move an application only audio. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You've already found one diff from the Treo- Pearl can't run apps from the memory card, just pictures, music, and video.

What apps are you trying top move? With BB, apps are installed either from the desktop (using Desktop Manager) or over the air from web links, not by copying/moving them with Explorer.

The registration/activation codes for most 3rd party apps are also tied to a phone's PIN number and you have to ask the authors for new codes using the PIN from the other phone.
