I am at work right now, and I have been using my pearl frequently, I put it down, maybe 20minutes ago was the last time I used it..

I just picked it up, and went to messages, and ALL my messages are GONE!! as well as my call history!!?

What the hell is going on??? Any one hear of anything like this happening?

My retention is to keep messages for 30 days and I just got the phone not even 2 weeks ago!

Pressing the phone button should bring up your call log. Also, while in the messages application, try using the shortcuts. Shift + S for SMS messages, Shift + M for MMS Messages, Shift + P for Phone Calls/Call Log, Shift + C for Voicemail Messages. I thought Shift + E was for e-mail, but it's not working for me right now...But yeah, those shortcuts may just get things working again, or bring up what you're looking for in a different menu or something...not sure how constructive that'd be, but just a suggestion.

I've had mine for a month and this has happened to me twice within the last few days. The first time, only my call log disappeared, then, last night, I had some of messages dissapear and my entire call log again. I'd like to know what the heck is going on.

now that i have said that all that means is your BB is out of memory.. Thats what it is suppose to do to make room for new messages. check your free memory? I have 37,897,354 on my 8100 make sure you store all your pictures and ring tones on the micro SD card and delete any of the languages using the desktop manager application loader....
