Default Contact Groups?

Please Login to Remove!

Are there contact groups on the Pearl? I haven't been able to add anyone to one, nor to pick a group to see the members of (e.g. Family, Work, Headhunters, etc).

Any suggestions?

Once a group exists you can go and edit it (add or remove members).

Thanks, adding the first member was the step I was missing to save the group.

But it wants me to add each piece of contact info separately??!?!? What's up with that?

Now I have a Family group with with

Lastname, Firstname (Mobile)
Lastname, Firstname (Work)
Lastname, Firstname (Email)

and it's all my wife. When I add my daughter I'm gonna get the same for (Mobile) and (Email).... ditto for my son? Or did I do something else wrong?

As far as I know you can only add one number or address from each contact at one time. You can send SMSs (and other stuff) to the whole group so it HAS to pick which number or address you want for each contact or else it would be sending a lot of junk for some folks.

That is NOT what I wanted to hear. :(

Thanks for the info and the reasoning behind it tho.
