Amen brotha!...or sista.

edit// let me try and answer the rest of your question =)
Yeah, basically it's just a drag and drop. You need to install a program, and when it's installed you click a button and it transfers. The video encoding takes a bit of time to understand. It took me a whole night because I'm computer illiterate.

On the 3rd page, Odnerd helped me the most.

Crazy BB stories. Ummm, Not many yet. I just got mine 2 weeks ago and it was during the midst of finals. But, Like I wrote in the other thread. I usually go to bed at 2am, and don't sleep till 4am because I'm on my BlackBerry browsing, chatting on BBM, reorganzing/renaming files, and sorting out my schedule.

I am a college student as well and absolutely love my Pearl. I was thinking about getting a PDA over Christmas break and a new Sony cell phone, but then i saw the BlackBerry Pearl. One of the best things i have ever owned. I was always skeptical about BlackBerries because of their size and business image. The Pearl changed all that. It is a sleek and packed with hours of fun.
No crazy stories because i have only had it for a week now, but i am sure are bound to happen.

I'm a junior on college and just got a Pearl as well. It will help out a lot as I'm taking 18 credit hours (not as bad as it sounds, it's more like 12 if you take into account one of the professors I have for 2 classes...hardly any work :D) and am also working 18 hours, so it will help me keep track of my schedule. Plus, it will keep me entertained during boring lectures :D
