Default Help - newbie 8100 user struggling!!

Please Login to Remove!

Tis Christmas and I got a Blackberry 8100 Pearl here in the UK. Getting frustrated with a few things I can't seem to find out how to alter, can anyone help??

* when someone calls the phone vibrates twice before the ringtone starts - how do I get it to go straight to the ringtone?

* how do I increase the number of rings before it transfers to voicemail if I don't answer it - seems to transfer very quickly at the moment.

Its on contract with Vodafone.

Im sure there will be more to come but if you can help me with the above it would be much appreciated.

Rgds

Go to ringer profiles and set vibrate to zero times.

Not sure about number two.

Profiles - Advanced - (select the profile you will normally use such as Loud) - Phone - change in holster and out of holster settings to Tone (probably on Vibrate + Tone currently) - BB button - Save - Escape all the way back to your main screen.

Usually the provider has to make the number of rings change for you.

Do as Roadrider suggested and call your provider. They can increase that time. 30 seconds is usually the max they can do.

Earlier reply is correct, I'm with vodafone (UK) and they increased the time for me; just give them a ring.
