Angry Pearl ringer not working

Please Login to Remove!

The ringer on my wife's pearl keeps failing. It will just stop working not matter what the profile is.

We called T-Mobile and they said people have been complaining about this and suggested we take out the battery to restart it. This does fix it temporarily but the problem eventually returns. No audible ring at all. No matter what the profile says.

Has anyone experienced this? And fixes?

Check to see what version OS is on the device. Go to Options > About. What does the third line read? Should look something like this "v4.2.0.67 (Platform 2.2.0.39)".

The orginal release OS had a few issues. Upgrading to a newer release may resolve the problem if it is software related.
