Default Changing "from" address on replies?

Please Login to Remove!

Ive done extensive searches...no luck....so...

I forward all my domains to gmail, where I have my BIS collect them back to my 8100. Everything works flawlessly, except I cannot change my "from" address whenever I reply to an email. The result is that the phone replies with my gmail account by default....which is NOT what I want....any ideas how I can change my reply to "from" address?
I want to stress that I DO NOT have this problem when creating a new email...only on reply's
2nd question along the same lines....how do I change the default "from" address, permanently, creating a NEW mail....if I change it in options>advanced options>messaging services (where I read on another thread) it makes no difference....in fact the default address seems to have a mind of its own....it changes to any of my three domains....any confirmed location in the phone where that default address can be changed?

I just installed it, now rebooting the phone, I don't think this particular application applies to the 8100, because we already have the ability to choose which address we are sending from, when sending a new email. I think older blackberries did not have that capability....and that is what this app is for....( I definetly could be wrong) someone that might know better please chime is so I do not misinform the crowd....

On the email, just click the menu button (after youve hit reply, of course), and select "Email [email address]". You will then see "Send Using:"

What are we missing here. I tried this and only see "send using" when you forward a message but never when replying to a message. How do you see send using on a reply?

Thanks

I seem to recall seeing "Send Using" but I forget if it was on my 7105t or the 8100. It ain't there now!! I have 4 email accounts and I would love to have this feature back. I did exactly like you said, but I only get Send on the menu. Any help be much appreciated.

You wont see the "Send using" on the menu, you will have to hit Menu, Reply, then scroll up to the To: section and hit the Menu again...then select "Email : [email address]" then it will take you back to the email you were replying to and if you scroll up, the "send using" should appear. This seems like a pain in the butt to have to do it all the time, guess you just have to make sure you have the email you want to send from as your default.

Thanks for the instructs. Wow that is a bit labor intensive. I do however seem to recall it was easier to access, maybe the 7105t? I'll check it out.

Yea, in the 7105t, it was already there, no need for all those steps. Not sure why they did this in the pearl.

How do you set it as the default?

You have to go to Options, Advanced Options, Message Services, then select your email as default and save.

wow...thanks Somebody7 for the instructions. There is no way I would have found that on my own. It was much simpler on my 7130c.
