Default Cellet Case - Auto-Dim Issue

Please Login to Remove!

Just bought the Cellet Stingray Case for the 8100.

DO NOT BUY THIS CASE for 3 reasons:

1) The top wrap-around clip covers the eye for the auto-dim feature. (Which, yes, cannot be turned in the latest firmware- unless you want to mod it (which has had some bad results...))

2) The plastic is thick and it is near impossible to not press 2 buttons at the same time. This makes typing impossible.

3) The one part that needs covering- the pearl - is NOT COVERED. And as you scroll around, your thumb rubs against the cheap plastic which is unpleasant and probably will cause ripping if used regularly.

The only positive: it takes about 30 seconds of stitch-ripping to remove the big, ugly hunk of plastic on the back for the belt clip.

Still new, so here's the copy + paste link for a photo of what NOT TO BUY.

This looks like some kind of leather case.

I give up on leather cases. I found out that they really don't protect the phone that well. In fact, it may actually damage your phone further.

I got an OEM skin case for my phone and Shield Zone and I am happy with it.

I was wondering this too.. I just got a Krussell leather case (very nice) and it dims intermittently now.

Anyone know?

Thanks!

It's located on the right side where the led is.
