Default Installing Blackberry desktop software

Hello All New to the forum!

I am also new to the blackberry products, and im loving every minute of my pearl!!
Altough I have an issue when attempting to install the desktop software, I get a
1607: Unable to install InstallShield Scripting runtime window error and the installation quits itself.

Anyone have the same problem? Im assuming its my XP, iv'e searched but have had no luck fixing the problem

Any suggestions/ideas will be gladly appreciated.

I did a quick seaarch on 1607: Unable to install and found some threads but here is one that might be of help: Error Installing DM HELP

I have Windows ME, which is not compatible with the software :( I have to download it at work :(
