Default Retrieving Pictures from MicroSD Card

I downloaded a 2MB picture of my wife and I from Christmas on the card. When I try and pull it up, it takes a cool MINUTE to do so. Is this normal?

The Pearl's screen is small enough that a smaller file will look great. If you're using windows, download microsoft's free picture resizer, resize the pictures to a smaller size and load them onto the SD card.

I agree, I resize every picture that I put on my Pearl and they look great.

It takes 30-60 secs to load a 2-3mb file off the card to the screen.

They should have used the 8700 OS in the Pearl, that would be a perfect device... along with wifi..........lol

We're getting killed bc BB does not have wifi and the Pearl is going on a limb, I think that wifi would boost sales.
