Im using a BB 8100 Pearl and a SONY PCG-SRX51P laptop running Windows XP SP2.
My problem is I can send files from the BB8100 to the laptop no problem (pictures, MPEG-4) etc but when I try it the other way and ask the BB to "receive files using bluetooth" from the laptop it goes to "File Transfer:Waiting for Connection" sits like that for ever and the only way I can do anything more is hit the cancel.
Anybody got any ideas why I can transfer one way and not the other ???

After you do that, you have to go to the file on the laptop and right-click, then select send to...bluetooth device.
