I see a lot of posts on here about people having issues with Opera Mini connecting. I have never known anyone to ever have a problem connecting to it. I, myself, have installed it on several BB's and I have never had an issue. Its not like I am a tech whiz and did something special. It just works. Maybe it was something to do with a BES IT Policy if they are on one and have one.

I thought this was going to be another thread like that. I am not even sure why I looked. Anyway, Opera rocks, although the BB OS doesn't allow it to be selected as a default browser.

I like Opera on my PC, and would like to use it on my BlackBerry's, 7130c & 8700c, both on BIS (not BES).

My only hesitation is some of the problems I've read about. Both my BB's are running perfectly and I would like to keep it that way. When I go to their web site it seems really simple and easy.

So I'm asking for clarification and help please.. as so far I have not installed it. Is there anything in the way of downloading and setup / configuration that I should know?

Which is the best way to obtain the download, over the air, or via PC? Once it's downloaded and installed, does it appear as an Opera icon on the start screen? Any bugs or pitfalls I should know about?

I am very eager to do install Opera on my Blackberrys'. Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks....

Install it over the air and enjoy. I have never had to configure it. Go for it. If it doesnt work for you, then delete.

Since I'm using my BB in box stock condition, no added software, would you explain how to delete it if I need to?

Thanks
