Default Slow response from key presses.

My 5 (GH) key responds quite slow. I have to press and hold it before it registers. However, once it does register I can enter consecutive 5's in a row without delay. Does anyone know what's wrong or how I can fix it? Thanks a lot.

Maybe you have a few programs running in the background that slows your typing? Try using alt+esc to see what you have running and if they're not the default programs that are supposed to be always running....close them. Try a battery pull also and see if that fixes the problem. This is just a guess, so guys don't flame me if I'm wrong.

I've tried rebooting. It doesn't help. And only this one key is affected. All the other keys are fine. This stinks.

Are you still within your trial time or do you have a replacement warranty? Return it if you do.

Nope. I've had it for roughly 40 day and I didn't purchase a warranty.
