Default Messages box - how to separate SMS from email

Please Login to Remove!

I have POP 3 emails forwarded to my Pearl and they all show up as a separate inbox. However my Messages box integrates all email with my SMS/MMS messages. How could I get my SMS/MMS messages separately i.e. getting only SMS/MMS to my messages folder and having email folders separately. Has anyone figured out a solution - Cingular wasn't able to help me on this?!This is really annoying me - given that I otherwise love my new gadget!!

The messages folder collects everything, that's how it is. There is no way around that. There are, however, different themes that you can use that will have folders for each email account, as well as a folder for sms and mms. Then all you do is hide the messages folder.
