Default Adding new # for existing contact?

Please Login to Remove!

Today I was getting a cell phone # from someone who I already have in my contact list, but its their home phone. He called my phone from his cell phone and when I pushed options from the call log and added him to address book it wouldn't let me save to his original contact info.

Usually this is really easy to do but I couldn't figure out how without writing out his # and then going to my phonebook and editing it in.

Anyone know what to do?

I usually just do a copy and paste. Highlight the number, click the menu key and select "copy xxxxxxxxxxx" Then paste it in the address book.

I know on my nokia I can add the number directly to the existing contact but BB does not allow that.
