Opera mini has a built in RSS reader. I use it all the time.

Is opera mini and alternate browser - if it is, is it any better than the 8100's?
Thanks

I've tried PicoNews, NewsCopier and FeedSpirit (all free readers, unlike Newsclip and FreeNews) and find that PicoNews is the winner. I have nitpicks with all of them, but Pico has the least amount (heh) and I use it daily.

Piconews, News in your mobile phone or PDA!

Pico and FeedSpirit use the server-centric approach, where you manage all your feed subscriptions via a desktop web browser mainly, then sync that to your device. NewsCopier uses a more classic on-device-only approach, just like the built-in RSS reader and the Opera Mini RSS reader.

Bloglines is my favorite. It is server based and has a great html view for both your browser and your bb. Berrybloglines is a great tool for Bloglines.

The builtin Internet Browser on the 8100 works nicely as an RSS reader.

I have Bloglines as well, but it has one annoying... 'feature' that kills me; if you're in an article and click outwards to view a webpage, then Back your way back to the list of news articles, it empties out because the session is too old, I guess. PITA!

I LOVE bloglines mobile on my Blackberry. That's how I read every site. I rarely use any other link.

Google Reader is great - been using it on all my devices. Best of all when you click out to a linked site, Google squeezes the site down for your device so it's fast and conveninent.

www.google.com/reader (setup on your desktop)
www.google.com/reader/m (access from your BB)
