Hi,

We have just started to introduce Blackberry Pearl's to our senior management. We are using a BES at our Group Head Quarters to distribute emails to the Pearls. All the management have laptops that they tend to use 70% of the time, only using the Blackberry when in meetings and away on business for the day.

Emails appear on the Blackberry are read this updates the laptop mailbox.

Messages that have been put into the Deleted folder on the laptop clear from the Blackberry.


The Question...
When moving messages from the inbox on the laptop to another folder within the inbox (housekeeping) should the Blackberry update and the messages disappear off the Pearl?

Why I ask this is because its not happening on our units and the list of email messages on the Blackberry is getting longer and longer. If it can't be sync'ed will they just need to keep delting the messages off the Blackberry or is there a better way?

Hide Filed messages can be turned on or off - my guess is the emails that are filed are now showing with a file folder icon instead of an envelope (they look very similar). Turn Hide Filed messages to Yes

I have looked at the unit and it was set to No to hide filed messages. I will see how this change goes but it seems this may be the answer.
