Anyone know why a BT250V would pair but not work with a 8100?
the device appears to be paired and connected to the phone but when I dial from the phone I get nothing through the Jabra headset???

I just bought a Jabra BT250V headset for use with my T-Mobile Pearl. Mine works just fine...

I have one also....no problems. Make sure you hold down the call and volume up buttons until the light is solid so that the phone will recognize it.

Not sure what's up. It pairs, and the active device light is on the phone but still not working.... Did you all leave the device as trusted and enable the encryption?

Mine works fine as well.

Options:
Trusted - Yes
Encryption - Enabled
Echo Control - Automatic

I did have issues initially. However, fluke or real, the problem got fixed when I paired the two after the headset was FULLY (overnight) charged.

Well.... I'm not really sure how but I did get it to finally work... after kicking it, cussing it and then I performed the request to "refresh the service"... all of a sudden it started working.... I don't think that had anything to do with it but for some nutty reason its working.... we'll see if it stays that way...

At least I can confirm that the BT250V does work with the Cingular 8100/Pearl!
