What is the best screen protector for the face of my 8703e? And where on-line can they be purchased?

I'm really liking my "Best Skins Ever" protector which can be purchased at bestskinsever.com. Super cheap too. The same stuff as the more expensive shieldz brand. It's all made by 3M in big sheets and then these smaller companies cut it into the shapes you need. I got the full body cover (which doesn't actually cover the chrome on the sides) for $7. The screen covers are even cheaper. And they don't completely rip you off on shipping either. Whatever you chose, good luck.

I'll second the recommendation for the BestSkinsEver product. I've been using them for over a year on my 8700c and now my 8100c. They work great and are very resistant to scratching on their own (i.e., I've yet to scratch the screen protector it self), and they don't peel around the edges

Another vote for Best Skins Ever. I have had one on my 8100 for about 3 months. Still fits tight, no peeling. Can't beat the price either!

For the record, also have one on my iPod. Still sticks! No scratches.

Thanks for the help. I did not get back to check the replies in time. I did a bit more research, I went with a product call shield zone. Pretty indestructible and they have a life time guarantee. They had vids on the site of people taking a key and scratching it over ipods and phone and hard as possible, no scratches, people trying to rip the protector in half, not possible. and a pen wouldn't even go through it.

I will see how it works, if not i will go with the recommendation.

Like I mentioned before, there are other products out there which are all made from this identical material made by 3M. The only difference is in price, which can vary greatly. I'm sure you'll be happy with the brand you purchased. If not, return it and go with the Best Skins Ever. You won't be sorry.

I use BSE and they are amazing. Much cheaper that shieldzone, and the same material.

Best Skins Ever here as well. They are also like Shieldzone but only $6.95. Can't go wrong with that price.

Like everyone else here, I'm voting for BSE. Your comment about the "vids on the site" and "taking a key scratching it over..." is all a marketing ploy. They just want to look like the best of the best. But like it has already been said here, they all use the SAME 3M sheets just like the "clear bra" you can buy to put on the hood of your car so it doesn't get scratched from stray rocks on the highway.

Will you be happy? Yes.
Did you spend 5x more than you could have? Yes.

So whatever works for you. But you will be happy in the end.

While ill agree that that best skins ever is cheapier and its all made from the same stuff, BSE doesnt cover the chromee sides. the sides are important to me as well as the body of the pearl. Plus the lifetime warranty is well worth it to me. Ive already replaced it once.

IF you purchased a BSE skin then sanfran has a whole thread on tips and trick. Just search for BSE application and threads should come up. BSE's website has instructions on it as well.

We offer screen protectors for the 8703e in two different flavors. the Anti-Glare and the Crystal Clear. The ClearTouch Anti-Glare screen protector has a textured finished to defuse light reflected from the screen. The ClearTouch Crystal screen protector does not have the texture. Both are re-applicable and last quite some time.
