Default Suretype and URLs?

Have been thinking about trying out a Pearl. As I was sitting here on my 8700 and entering the URL of a website, it made me wonder how much of a pain it is to do this on the Pearl and if most people switched to multi-tap mode when entering URLs.

URL's are not too bad. Passwords are the worst.

Whenever I enter a password in my Pearl it switches to multi-tap mode, which I believe is the default since it's a password.

I just don't find it very intuitive to enter passwords. I find ways around it by choosing a suretype friendly passwords. If it wasn't for my companies IT Policies, I would of not have a password to unlock the device after 30 min. I do wish the forward slash was on the main keyboard rather then in the symbol library. That would be my only complaint about URL's. Other then that, Suretype is pretty good.

Wirelessly posted (VZW 7130e: BlackBerry8703e/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105)

I agree that the slash should be somewhere on the main SureType keyboard. For the most part I loved SureType. I just switched to an 8703 (full keyboard) from a 7130 (SureType) and I'm still getting used to it. I had become very fast using SureType, even when symbols were necessary. Now it seems like I'm very slow.

To enter a forward slash (at least while in the Go To... box) hit the Shift key, then the Space key.
