I got a new email or text and it wont show up anywhere. i have a yellowish orange envelope icon on the top left of my screen. i have filing set to off and i cant see it. whats wrong? or how do i see it

did you check in your saved items?

Make sure the date on the device hasn't been reset, too. I've seen that happen to folks, and all the emails go to the bottom.

you can also press the * SYM key while in messages. If the message is buried in your mailbox, it should jump right to it.

also make sure your date is correct on the BB
