Notification Sound Levels
Please Login to Remove!
The sounds I like to use for notifications (ones I've DL'd, not defaults on the Pearl) are too loud, even on the Low setting. Is there a free program I can use to adjust the sound levels of the wavs themselves?

I've never heard of one.
I know what you mean; I wish I could get a quieter notification for some of my alerts also.

the only work around I know of is to modify the sound using music editing software to lower the volume, then add that sound to your phone.

You mean too loud because it's causing distortion??
Otherwise I wish I had this problem...All my stuff is too quiet!!
If I had the nerve to do it, I'd have done the Battery door cover mod by now...

Right, that's what I'm looking for. Does anyone know of a free one?

I use the trial version of wavepad, get it at download.com. Works like a charm and is free.
