Default shock sensor?

just wondering if the bb has some sort of sensor inside that shows if its been dropped. im having problems with the volume button so im sending mine back for an exchange. i dropped it once, nothing crazy. i just dont want to get charged for a new phone because of one little drop and then some sensor tripping. thanks.

i wouldn't think so because if it happens bring up the fact that it coulda happened when they were shippin the phones to the retailers
