There are alot of IM messenger for BlackBerry. Some of them are just working with single network like:

BerryVine Messenger (MSN Direct Connect) (One-Time Fee)
QuickIM Messenger (MSN Direct Connect) (One-Time Fee)

some are using multi network protocol so you can connect practically to all the most famous services like MSN, Yahho, Google Talk, Jabber and so on:

Verichat - (Multi Network) (Annual Subscription)
Yak-On (Multi Network) (One-Tme Fee)
WebMessenger (Multi Network) (Annual Subscription)
Causerie Messenger (Multi Network) (Annual Subscription)
IM+ (Multi Network) (One-Time Fee)

With my Pearl I tried almost all of them, from BerryVine to IM+, from QuickIM to Webmessenger and Causerie too. I have to say that the one I like most (but it's personal of course) is Yak-on.

If you are not on BES and you do not configure you internet access it will be hard any of those IM will work.

There's a nice post explaining how to do this. Use the Search option of this forum and look for "How to Configure Full Internet Access On BlackBerry".

BTW, I think that with T-MO (UK) you have to insert in the APN: general.t-mobile.uk

Let me know. Ciao, Diego
