There is something that really frustrates me about my pearl. If the phone is off (or out of service) and a text message is sent to me, the phone only shows the time that it retrieved it, not that it was actually sent at.

This is true of emails as well.

If i turn my phone on at 7:30, everything comes in and says 7:30.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks

don't have a fix, but I do know if you scroll up in the header after you open the message, it says the time the message was received on the server.

hope that helps.

Thats only for emails...not texts, but you're right that is one way to tell on the email messages

I just tell the people who text me the most that during work hours (when either my BB is off or w/o reception) I will not respond to text messages and if I do respond late is because I just turned the phone back on or just got reception back.

As for a message late at night, I dunno why you would turn your phone off. I keep mine on all night just in case of an emergency.
