so my brother calls me telling me that his car ran out of gas and that he's on the shoulder of the highway. so i get up and get the red gas bottle and meet him at the shoulder. anyway, we get home to find out that my blackberry pearl isn't in my case! i'm calling it and running all over the house and in my car to see if it fell out. no luck.. so i think the worst. "It fell on the shoulder of the highway!!" So we pull out the flashlight, bundle up (i live in toronto.. where theres snow and FREEZING COLD) and head out back to the shoulder. my brother ended up finding it lodged into the snow.. sunken in. i don't even know how he saw it. Anyway, other than the fact that the phone was FREEZING cold, there was 100% nothing wrong with it. not even water damage. we were jumping up and down on the shoulder celebrating while everyone zooming by was probably wondering what the heck were those 2 guys doing!?

lol. anyways, i just thought i'd share that with you guys. ;)

thanks sanFransisco! i'll definitely look into that. and i have a 3 year warranty on the phone but it doesn't cover water damage.. so in this case i would of been out of luck :/
