Default Return to RIM

Please Login to Remove!

Hi there,
When I lock my 8100 it has recently started say 'Research in Motion, Return to RIM'

Has anyone seen or had this problem?

Thanks

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8703e/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105)

Hey I am going to have to check mine now. I'll bet the iPhone is made by oompaloompas! But seriously, check your personal greatings settings. This would be your personal info that is displayed when you lock it. This may be an automated statement as default if you have not put one in yourself.

But seriously, sounds like a goof up on the phone that is easily fixed.

Did you clear the IT policy using the instructions and policy file found on the internet? I have seen the same thing before and suspect it is due to this very reason.

Thanks everyone. Somehow an automated greeting (Owner/information) had been set up. All OK now!
