I killed my 1 gig micro sd card?
I recently purchased a 1 gig micro sd for my pearl. and the first thing i did was put it in my phone to format it. the phone read the card and displayed the amount of space free and available before i formatted it and when i pressed format it asked me to say yes or no. so i clicked yes and the phone seemingly froze. i thought it was working itself out but after 15 min i gave up and pulled the battery. now the phone doesnt read the card and neither does my computer. did i kill the card or can it be fixed?

What type is it. I.e. SanDisk?
I believe so because the same thing just happened to me yesterday.
I woke up and played a song on my Pearl, it then froze and I impatiently pulled out the battery. The card was messed up after that, I think it a large part has to do with the microCD card connecter prongs (whatever they're called).
I bought a new card and put it in and I was getting "No card present..." all the time. I just took out my knife and made sure there were no crossover with the prongs and that they hit the proper spot on the SD card. I just got it working again, formatted a couple times.. I hope it works like it used to =/
for some reason since yesterday morning it starts to freeze =/ dunno the cause
