is it safe to put alcohol on the led itself in case you'd like to change the color of the led again?

did u use alchohol to clean your trackball? i used alchohol like it told me to and my pearl broke down so i called and im getting a new one.

Yeah do not clean with alchohal because mine broke as well and i got a new one so i just bought a 5 dollars trackball color changer at handango.com called pimpmypearl. I know where to go to download it on your pearl. You have to go to the pearls browser and type in a url that i still have and you an download the real one but i cant tell you since you didnt pay but mabye i should tell you guy. Think i should?

p.s. i got this url because when in tried downloading it from handangos site, it wouldnt work so i emailed the makers and they told me this url. The soft ware is called pimp my pearl. Dont beleive me, go to handango.com select bb pearl aand select "just for fun" and you will see pimp my pearl

there is a link for a program to customize the color of the trackball for free. it is called ColorPearl. it was easier and not permanent like marker

The link you are referring to is in the post right above yours. it only works on the 8100, though. It doesn't work on any other device.

Sooo...since the Color Pearl only works with the 8100, and I own the 8130 which only has one white LED, does anyone know it after all this time, the marker on scotch tape holding up from the "fry" or baking effect?
