| | sync issue w/ 8100 & software Pl. help!

Any suggestions for syncing prob. with 8100. Desktop manager starts up and starts syncing and when it gets to calendar it gives me a red error saying can not complete. I tried repair/ and also reinstalled, restarted/reinstalled and get the same error! ( I have the 4.2 on Cingular ed.) and nothing. I need my calendar updated for the week! I have also removed battery fr. phone, nothing seems like a software issue...any help would be greatly appreicated!

Reason: Tried reinstalling, now what, PLEASE HELP!
