I had the 7100i from Nextel and it did its job for what it was baught for. But now i need media capabilities and a camera for my job. Plus, I'm never buying an ipod so i would like something thats all in one and it seems like this is it. What other phone can take pictures, watch movies, play mp3s, surf the net? None that I know of so Im insanely excited. Gotta wait 3 business days to get it though so my 7100i is on its last days :D

As long as your OS is higher that .44. As for brands, I have a Kensington one in mine and it works great (only a 1gb though).

Former i1000 user right here. Couldn't live without my BB.

I'm a little bummed though. I would love to get the 8800, but I just upgraded to the Pearl in October, and TMO only lets you upgrade once per year and get the discounted price.
