Question SD card help............

Please Login to Remove!

I recently bought Kingston 1 gig card for my new BB 8100 , the deal is , I have songs which I want to use for ringtones as well as music playback , but if u select browse from media card , it takes u to specific folder which i dont want ,I dont wanna copy songs in both the directories, ringtones require files in ring* folder and Music requires files in its own folder ....

Any help , suggestion , config settings avail to change it ??? or this is an overlooked feature

Welcome to the forums,
If you are changing the ringtone under Phone >Edit you can't take a ringtone directly off the card. However, when you are viewing your list of profiles in "Advanced" you can hit the menu key and select "show tunes." Then you'll see your media card folder and device folder. Now hit the menu key again and select "explore." Now you'll be able to view all the contents. When you get to a song you want as a ringtone hit the menu key again and select "set as ringtone."
