Question AIM Problems on Pearl

Please Login to Remove!

When I attempt to log into AIM on my Pearl, I received a message that I am logged in, but the AIM screen is stuck on 20% (signing on) and finally I get the following error message:

Communication error. Please try again or check your settings.

What settings? I am able to received jumbled messages from others, but that does me no good. Can anyone offer advice???

It would be very helpful if you can tell us what AIM program did you use.

But I'm guessing you are using OZ. OZ uses SMS, so if you use your AIM a lot you'd better have unlimited text. My suggestion would be trying out a program called JiveTalk. It's a great program and it uses data.

Thank you for the information. I sent an email to see if I can beta test. Yes, using OZ and I looked at my bill online yesterday. I was horrified to see the extra amount I will have to pay for text. I was mistaken in thinking it was included in the tmo bb plan.
