You need the 4.2.0.64 OS file too. It's at the same website.

You already have the installation download. Make sure you downloaded the 8100 .alx for the OS version 4.2.0.64.

Then replacy your blackberry.alx with the new blackberry.alx. (you can rename the old one so you can get it back if you ever need it. I would just rename it blackberry.old. (you'll need to unzip the file you downloaded as it's a .zip file)

Then plug in and run DM and Apploader again. It should want to update "core" applications. Finish the installation and it should load more themes to your BB.

Did you replace only "blackberry.alx?" It looks like you may have either replaced the wrong file or downloaded the wrong .alx.

Unplug the BB and Reinstall the OS package to your PC. Then you can try again or leave it the way it is. Read the instructions in Jibi's thread very carefully.

Disregard the carrier names and just go with the version number. For 4.2.0.64 use this one:

http://www.blackberryforums.com/atta...2-4.2.0.75.zip

It's for the 4.2.0.75 package version 4.2.0.64 software version

It's a little confusing between "package version" and "software version." The package version contains the software version. The software version is listed in Options >About on your BB. Does that make sense?
