Twice in the last two days my Pearl has gotten a new gmail, started vibrating, and not stopped. this is the first time this has EVER happened, but it has happened twice in two days. I am using the original OS from the 1st gen. release (got it day of release), which i havent changed b/c i saw no need (already bought 1gb card, etc.).

Help please?!?

Hmm without getting too complicated - Just update the O.S., I'm sure it'll fix it.

Happened to me once. I just pulled the battery and put it back in. Seemed to have something to do with an IM notification while i was doing something else on the device.
