I'm curious if anyone's Pearl has a dim #2 key (with the keypad light on)? When compared to the other keys, the #2 looks almost unlit. I wanted to know if this is a defect with my phone, or is it just how they come? Thanks!

Mine is fine too.. But my #2 key is a little darker than the others... Is that what you mean? The key looks like its more dirtier or just darker than the others keys rather than a lighting problem.. I have the t mo version.. You?

Yeah, TMo version here. When they're unlit, the #2 looks like all of the others in terms of readability. But, in the dark, I can't really even make out the 2, T, or Y. Thanks for the replies. I'll just send it back because i'm that picky and don't like the idea of paying $200 for something that doesn't work as it should.

if you can find the sf thread... there are a total of 11 light diodes on the keypad...

4X3X4... the bottom center does not have a diode... thus causing the lower buttons to not light up as much.

However my 2 key is the brightest... whereas the lower keys are not.

or you could get a a keypad 4m a white pearl

My *, 2,5,8,0,and 3 are very dim. They dimmed about two weeks after I got my Pearl. Annoyed the crap out of me at first, but I got used to it. I try not to think about!lol...
