Lightbulb Chrome Siding?

Please Login to Remove!

Is it possible to remove the chrome siding from the pearl without taking the screws off? I'd like to remove the front cover to clean underneath the plastic screen protector-thingy.

That didn't answer my question. I asked if I could remove the siding without removing the screws, I've seen the disassembly photos/guide.

And I read your post.
You want to clean dust from between the LCD and the front cover screen protector. From the pics in the FAQ, it looks like regardless of whether the screws must be removed to pull the side pieces, they do need to come out to pull off the front to clean between there. What did I miss?

you need to remove the screws to get to the inside to clean out the lcd regardless.. you need a torx screwdriver. there are two hidden screws underneath the bottom plastic piece, in the front. don't be nervous... it is easy to take a part and put back... there are no wires holding the pieces togeither. it is one board with the whole phone on it.

Being a smart a$$ to people who are trying to help you is less than a brilliant tactic

So you want a straight up answer to your straight up question? YES it is possible to remove the siding without removing the screws. Visit dremel.com for the tool that will enable you to achieve your goal.

If you truly did read the guide and still needed to ask this question then you need alot more help than this forum can provide.
