Default Blackberry Pearl not email addresses from Contacts in Exchange

I am an IT admin for a rather large transportation company. We are running Exchange 2003, BES 4.1 SP2, and have approximately 700 users on one BES server.

Just recently, we had an AVP purchase a PEARL Blackberry, and went through the Enterprise Activation processs as usual. After activating the device for him, he figured out that for some reason, the email addresses were not being puled in to the contacts on the device. My initial thought was that the view was the problem, but when you try to email any of the contacts from the device, it actually gives you an error stating "no email address" for the contact...

The user has approximately 450 contacts. A lot, but not a huge amount by any means. (I had another user with 3000 just the other day, and as far as I know, they all synched eventually) We have Enterprised Activated him multiple times, and also tried deleting him and re-adding him to the BES, and neither made a bit of difference. My next thought is to try and re-load the device..?

Anybody have any ideas?
