how do you remove the "sent from blackberry " message from our phones? i have spent the past 2 days searching but i didnt see a post. any ideas?

On the blackberry go into messages, then get the menu and go to options, then email settings -- the signature block is editable

from the options window under messages, i have general options and email reconciliation.... neither of those have the email settings as you stated ... unless im missing a step

ok so call me dumb, but i am new to my pearl. I go to my messages area then hit the menu key. then i go to "options" and then i have "general options" and "email reconciliation". there is no prompt uder any of these settings that have an email settings. where can i find this. i hate that sent from black berry. help

I think you may be on BIS, in which case you can alter the signature through the website interface from your carrier.

Yes, that is how. Or, you can change it via your icon Setup Internet Email...

On your blackberry there is an "Email Settings" ICON. CLICK IT. you have to create an account that is coded with your phone's PIN. In there you can add email accounts "bbuser@internet.com" and such. There is an option in there to EDIT your signature.

The email account I'm utlizing is my corporate (company) email, and therefore, I'm suspecting that they control this feature which will not allow me full edit functionality. I am able to edit whether or not I use Auto Signature or out of office reply, but that is it. Could that be the problem?

Then you are on BES and the settings are different. Ask your IT Administrator how it is edited, they will know.
