I enjoy that my email comes to my black berry that is why I got it and set up all my accounts on my bb. Is part of the function of the SMS area to receive all my emails as well? Is there a way to make the Emails stay in there own area and not go to the SMS mailbox? I guess I would prefer to have separate mailboxes to keep my SMS different from my emails. Also is there a way to change my SMS alert tone?

I find this annoying, although I believe there is another theme that you can download/unlock that gives a separate SMS only box saving you have to use the menu to view SMS only.

This can be solved depending on the theme you are using. I have the Zen theme that separates emails and sms messages(separate foder/icon for both). Not sure what theme you are using but that's an option.

To answer your second question yes go into profiles -->Advanced and you should see SMS and edit your tune.

1. try Alt key (bottom left) + S (? A S key) and you'll see just your SMS's
2. Go to profiles and change tones toyour desire for everything on the phone.
