Default uncaught java exception in Phone app

Has anyone else been getting a lot of uncaught java.lang.illegalargumentexception messages in the phone app?

If I type the first few characters of a contact's name from the home screen, the list of results comes up, and then when I flick the trackball to move down the list, about 1/3 of the time I get this uncaught exception error. I don't really seem to get them anywhere else, though.

From looking at a similar thread that mentioned SIM card replacement, I'm wondering if this could be related to an intermittent "SIM Card Error" I've been getting, although the SIM card came with my T-Mobile RAZR when I got it new a couple of months ago, so it should be rather current... They don't use different SIMs for different phones, do they?

I'm running BB v4.2.0.64

Any ideas?

Been getting them since I got the phone in October.
Don't expect fixes ASAP. If there's one thing I've learned about BlackBerry, it's that they are SLOW to fix things.

Expect a patch ready for when the Pearl's successor is unveiled.

I've been having both problems since I got my Pearl in June 2006. They said I had a bad contact in my Outlook file that syncs with my Pearl, but I've checked and re-checked my contacts and they all seem fine. I spent HOURS on the phone with RIM, to no avail. They're very helpful, just unable to fix the problem, unfortunately.
