Hello everyone am new in this forum my question is the i upgrade the external memory in my bb pearl 8100 from 1gb to 2gb and my issue is that the phone detects the external memory but my pc doesnt and i used a card reader to load the memory instead of the bb application cause it takes less time any sugestions.

Check your SD Encryption Mode settings from ...

Options> Adv Options> Media Card
Encryption Mode = Device, device & encryption key?
If any of the above the PC will NOT be able to read anything on the memory card.
and putting the card back MAY render the card empty so you may have to FORMAT the card from the Media application on the apps home screen.

I found this out last weekend the hard way while enjoying friends company.
