Default Buncho 'O Questions...

Please Login to Remove!

Still playing with my new Pearl..got a Mac to go with it and haven't run into any problems yet..but I DO have some questions I'm hoping people can point me in the right direction for...here they be:

1) How the heck do you 'move' a music file into your ringtone file. I can do it via my computer by dragging and dropping, but can you 'move' files into other locations on the Pearl? I found the "move" button on the Pearl but I can't figure out how to change locations or go into the "ringtone" folder from the "music" folder.

2) Anyone know where I can get new games for the Pearl?

3) What's with the Password Keeper? When is a password even used? I entered a password in Password Keeper but haven't seen a place where I need to use it again! I thought maybe in the "lock" keypad feature, but it doesn't ask me for a password, just the * plus the "call" button.

4) I live in Thailand and am with TRUE. I can use the phone but can't find a button where I can 'browse' the internet...how do I access the net? Is there not a 'browser' button? (I know this is probably a silly question...)

Thanks for all your help!!

Well #2 and #4 kind of go together...When you browse, you can browse for games. My pearl came with the Blackberry browser which I can use to search for games.
The password keeper is just used to store passwords that you might otherwise forget, more like a database that you can access with one password that you will remember.
To set the password for keyboard lock, you have to go into the security in device options and general settings and set the password in there. Hope that helps some.

Depends on the theme you have also. But you could press the menu key and see if you have the option checked to "Show All", then look for the icon. You could also check to see if you even have the browser installed by going to Settings > Options > Advanced > Applications and check to see if "Browser is in there".
Also under the Advanced Menu go to "Browser" and see what the default browser is set to.

hmmm..no browser in the menu screen after "showing all". Went to advanced options and into the "browser" section but nothing was in that section. It just said: "Default browser configuration: " then nothing after the colon...what should I do??
