Default BB Pearl - Any way to change MMS server?

Please Login to Remove!

Hey everyone. I've already posted this on the HowardForums site, since there is such a large amount of hackers there, but I figured I'd post it here just to be sure.

I finally got tired of Verizon's antics and switched to Cingular. There are things I miss, however. I have been unable to figure out if there is any way to change the MMS server like I could on my Verizon phones. Of course, this was a hack so I didn't count on it, but it would be nice.

Basically, I set up an MMS server on my domain controller that accepted MMS messages and posted them to a web server on my domain. It worked incredibly well, and did not cost me a message. Of course, once I switched to a messaging plan, I didn't use it as much. But now I have a blackberry and do not have a messaging plan because of the unlimited internet.

The best part was I could still SMS people, I would just have the server send the message by tagging @teleflip.com onto the end of the phone number. That way, the server sent the SMS via the internet and didn't cost me a text message.

Here is a link to my MMS site. There has got to be a way to change this....

What does that comment mean? Are you saying everyone should be 100% happy with the phone the way it comes from the factory? Well, call me crazy but I'm not. I'm one of those people that can't leave well enough alone (hence, my 410 RWHP 2005 V6 Mustang).

I would like to change the MMS server to send messages to my server instead of elsewhere.

Yes I agree with LunkHead don't think it can be done. BB's are incredibly secure!
