Does ramble im sign off automatically for anyone else? Even if I'm not doing anything it will just sign off. What other free im programs do people use (for aim)?

Ramble signed off periodically for me too. I couldn't keep it connected for more than a few minutes. You could try JiveTalk (currently in beta) it is an excellent program. Try searching for it.
