Default Disconnecting SD card every time I acccess Mass Storage mode.

Please Login to Remove!

I have a 8100c and every time I access the SD memory card via a PC and unplug it I can't access the card via the BlackBerry media browser. It is a 2GB Sandisk miniSD card.

If I cold boot the phone by removing the battery everything works fine. But to say the least, it's getting very annoying.

Thanks in advance,
/J

I have the same problem with SanDisk! I had a generic brand (Dana-Elect) prior, it worked fine. I've tried reformatting it a billion times and it still does not work.

Was it a 2GB? That's what I have.

No, I have a 1gb. I posted a similar thread before and a bunch of people tried to help, but nothing they suggested worked. If you go into the memory settings under options, it will tell to reformat the card and delete everything in it. I just use the desktop manager for transferring files even though it takes forever and a day.

I have a 1GB Sandisk miniSD card and I don't seem to be having any problem with my BB 8100...Though how do I move files from device memory to my media card. It is real annoying to have to connect to my desktop to move files.

Have you tried to right click in the systray to "stop" the device before you unplug it? I have 2gb Kingston, but I use mac. As long as I "eject" the phone before unplugging, there are no problems with the sd card.
