Default Noob TMobile to Cingular question

Please Login to Remove!

My current provider is Sprint, and I am very unsatisfied, so I decided to switch to Cingular since my girfriend works for them, and her service is great. I wanted the white Pearl, and it's not available through Cingular so I bought a brand new unlocked Pearl on ebay. It has the TMobile logo on the splash screen and on the phone itself. It didn't come with a SIM card, so I bought one from Cingular. I plan on keeping my old Sprint number.

Is there anything about the Pearl that won't be compatible with Cingular because of the TMobile thing and/or is there anything that I need to do to make it compatible, and function properly?

Thanks in advance.

If the pearl is truly unlocked then you can use it with any carrier
the Splash screen is just there because of the T-Mobile Os that was originally loaded on the phone.

It is possible to load a Cingular Os onto the Pearl but I myself do not know the steps to tell you..

Enjoy the the pearl its a great BB
This Forum has a lot of info on it
