Exclamation The new update screw my pearl.

Please Login to Remove!

Last night I installed in my pc: (But, I didn't uninstall the old desktop mngr.)

Desktop Manager Software ( ENG
Handheld Software (

So I went thru the steps of the installation, when it asked me if I wanted to use blackberry enterprise or internet, I choose internet. so then after it intalled everything in my handheld, it shut down then turn back on.

After the installation, I realized that my "setup internet email", "Browser", "Email" icons were gone. Intead I see a new icon that says something like "Setup Email Enterprise" (somethng like that).

So I did what I didn't want to do......Hard Reset the phone and reintalled the original cd software again.

Did I did something wrong during the installation? Should I try again to reinstall the update software (but first uninstall old version).

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

i would read up a bit more on the upgrade threads... You are brave to do an upgrade and not really know much about the internal processes of the phone.

you can go ahead and reload the newer os. Follow NJBlackberry's post above.
